I enrolled on a secondary maths teaching course within weeks of meeting Emily Beach at Huddersfield Horizon SCITT. Being 37 years old and caring for three children full time, I felt quite isolated from the outside world. Emily Beach inspired me from the very beginning and supported me throughout my application. She made the recruitment process very relaxed and approachable. I was able to choose the best teaching route for me and my family. I cannot wait to begin the programme and fulfil my lifelong dream of becoming a maths teacher at Huddersfield Horizon SCITT.
