Applying for the Penning Teaching School Alliance was a really easy and simple process, I attended a few applying to teaching events where they had a stall, and they were really approachable and sold the Alliance really well. They gave me plenty of advice and guidance with the application stage for their programme, which was a really simple process.
Upon my application for the programme I was offered an interview, I remember feeling really nervous before the interview but when I got there the staff who were part of the programme were great, they made me feel really welcome and comfortable with the process of the interview day. Tea, coffee and sandwiches were served on the interview which was really nice.
Luckily I was awarded a place on the programme and since then they have been really supportive and helpful with the next stages of the process in regards the professional skills test and student finance. I will definitely be recommending there programme to others that are interested in getting into teaching.
