About Us

Based at the Training & Development Centre at The Gateway in Elland, Huddersfield Horizon SCITT operates as a partner of South Pennine Academies, across Calderdale, Kirklees & Oldham delivering school centred initial teacher training (SCITT) for both primary and secondary pathways.

SCITT courses generally last one year, with many including a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) and/or masters' level credits which are accredited through Sheffield Hallam University.
